A Home for the Arts
In our Watersound communities, artists find inspiration around every corner.
And nowhere is that creativity more apparent than on The Watersound® Monarch Art Trail (WMAT), an outdoor sculpture project. Created by the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County with support from The St. Joe Community Foundation, the WMAT includes eight original sculptures explicitly designed for South Watersound Parkway’s mile-long walking and bike path.
Along the Watersound Monarch Art Trail, Jonathan Burger’s “Kaleidoscope” represents people’s capacity to pool resources and help each other. Our community is a place where meaningful connections are easy to come by. Here, people can explore their environment and find peace in the land and waterways.
Musicians, actors, and performing artists showcase their talents at the Aaron Bessant Park Amphitheater, the Pavilion at Watersound® Town Center and countless Watersound venues in-between.
Longleaf Art Park
Currently under development in the Watersound Origins® community, the 15.5-acre Longleaf Art Park will be a vibrant addition to Walton County, Florida, a new focal point of cultural, educational, and recreational experiences.
