Welcome to the Watersound® community where the environment unites residents, visitors, and the natural world. We created our collection of neighborhoods, hotels, resorts and town centers with conservation in mind, merging with the environment instead of overtaking it.
An appreciation for nature was taken to heart when creating this special place, connecting people through the love of the outdoors. Watersound gathering places are concentrated at the perimeter of more than 100,000 idyllic acres encompassing large parts of two counties. Nearly half of this acreage has been set aside for long-term conservation, ensuring that the Watersound area’s essential, natural character will remain undisturbed for future generations.
Much growth is on the horizon, but it will all be consistent with a commitment to blend in with the world as we found it.
