The Watersound communities are places for connection. By hosting annual events, Watersound families create traditions and memories. The Watersound Origins® Porchfest is a local favorite featuring musical performances from local favorites. Other annual events include the Ocean Film Festival, the Flutterby Art Festival, the Watersound® Block Party and RunWatersound® 5k and 10k race.
The Pavilion at Watersound® Town Center has quickly become home to a variety of events, including concerts, performances and festivals. Watersound Club® members enjoy access to member-only events at club amenities throughout the year. From holiday parties, to golf tournaments, the calendar is full of activity.
South Walton County is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world – but it’s not just about surf and sand! The Emerald Coast is rich with events and activities. World-class fishing tournaments, international film festivals, and wine tastings contribute to the vibrant culture of South Walton.

At our annual PorchFest event, front porches become stages and strangers become friends. Attendees enjoy an afternoon of musical performances featured on the front porches and lawns of the Watersound Origins neighborhood and enjoy food trucks and lawn games.
RUN WATERSOUND

At the annual RUN WATERSOUND 5k and 10k, runners of all levels enjoy a flat scenic course through the paths and streets of the Watersound Origins community. Awards for top male and female finishers are announced and participants enjoy a post-race party, music and fellowship.
Mountainfilm on Tour
Fall 2026
Each year Mountainfilm on Tour travels around the globe featuring a collection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and enlightening documentary short films selected from the best-loved films from the annual festival in Telluride. This 2-night outdoor film festival is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and motivating audiences about issues that matter.
